How to keep the log honest

  1. Fill in the reference listsChannels, categories, priorities and statuses as fixed lists, not free text.
  2. Log each request right awayWhen it arrives, not from memory at the end of the day, or quick questions drop out of the numbers.
  3. Review the summary weeklyThe Summary sheet counts the on-time share and overdue items.
  4. Outgrow the table — move to a systemOnce you get more than a few requests a day, a table cannot keep up: tickets should register themselves.
When a spreadsheet is not enough

A spreadsheet does not register requests or remind you of deadlines. In TehProf.kz Support every message from Telegram, MAX, email or your site becomes a numbered ticket, and the response deadline is tracked automatically. The Free plan is 0 ₸.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to sign up to download?

No, the files download from a direct link.

How is a request log different from a ticket log?

Essentially nothing: both record incoming requests with a number, an owner and a status. “Request” is the broader term and covers questions and complaints. The form is the same.

Which times should I put in the SLA?

Take your actual median for the last three months and add a margin. Values in angle brackets are guides, not a standard.

How do I calculate the SLA percentage?

The share of requests resolved on time: resolved on time ÷ all requests × 100%. The SLA calculator file already has the formula.
